The Context
Younger people aren’t buying car insurance, they’re either piggy-backing off their parents policies or forgoing it because of this perception that insurance is hard and difficult.
The Insight
Gen Z are the first generation to have grown up with information online readily available. It means they become overwhelmed and disillusioned and so are retreating to more analog experiences that feel genuine. It’s not that they don’t want insurance, it’s that it feels like an abstract concept.
The Idea
Make buying car insurance feel real and reassuring.
The Execution
We’ll give Gen Z an analog way of getting car insurance, by making it a physical product that also provides a calming sense of comfort and security.
